At Body Dynamix you will find that our healthcare, as well as our physical

bases patient diagnosis, progressions, treatment, and rehabilitation on an
evidence-based foundation. The training programs are designed around each
individual’s strengths and weaknesses in order to reach their full potential.
Healthcare: Common ideas of health today include one that
focuses on the absence of disease. We believe this to be a huge misunderstanding
of what optimal health really is. Look at the health continuum below.

Understanding what health is helps us to focus on obtaining the highest degree
of health. Seeing that the absence of disease is actually only halfway to

Acute Care: Trauma to the body (i.e. Ankle Sprain); the
first 72 hours provide a window of opportunity for actions to be taken to
shorten a patient’s road to recovery. Body Dynamix focus here is to take time to
accurately diagnose, rule out major injuries, and proceed by getting a patient
back to normal activity as soon as possible.
Chronic Care: Pain, usually accumulating over time (i.e.
Tendonitis, Headaches); Relief from the pain is the number one priority of our
staff. Secondly we want to uncover what the underlying cause is. Some common
causes are: Biomechanical inefficiency, overuse, muscular imbalance, and poor
posture. Lastly, it is the goal of Body Dynamix to not only get rid of the pain,
but to ensure that the pain will not return by solving the underlying problem,
as opposed to masking the pain with medication, and educating the patient on
proper maintenance.
Wellness Care: A patient who maintains optimal health by
taking a PROACTIVE approach to their health. This constitutes exercise, diet,
neurological communication, and biomechanical efficiency. We encourage all of
our patients to throw out the RETROACTIVE approach (treating symptoms when they
arise) and become truly healthy.
Training: Body Dynamix takes pride in constructing
individualized workout regiments based on the trainee’s specific goals. Every
trainee starts with an introductory test that measures cardiovascular endurance,
upper body explosiveness and strength, lower body explosiveness and strength,
and flexibility. Those test results are used to not only write the program, but
also to measure progress along the way. Body Dynamix trains a spectrum of people
from Professional Athletes, to run of the mill business persons, to police
officers and fireman. As with anything else we do here,
Specificity is the key.
