Edward Stanislawski:

Dr.  Stanislawski comes from a wide background in sports.  Born and raised here in Southern California.  At St. Francis High School he was named MVP his Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years, and nominated for All League honors his junior and senior year in volleyball; and lead the football team in receptions and touchdown receptions in his senior year.  In college he was awarded All League honors and won the 2000 State Volleyball Championship at Pierce College.

After Pierce, Dr. Stanislawski continued his education at Cal State Northridge graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, emphasizing in Exercise Science.  He then went on and earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Southern California University of Health Science (formerly known as LACC) where he graduated Cum Laude.  During his three and a half years spent at chiropractic school Dr. Stanislawski was involved with many of the clubs and events on campus including being Vice President of SIC (Sports Injury Council), taking the gold medal at the 2006 Chiropractic Olympics in volleyball, and starting the first ever Activator Club on  the SCUHS campus.  Since his graduation he has continued his education receiving certifications as a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), and ART (Active Release Technique) in both Spine and Upper Extremity.

Dr. Stanislawski also takes an active role in his community.  Volunteering for the medical staff for the California AIDS ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles, the Santa Barbara AVP event, and for a number of youth sporting events.  He coaches volleyball for the Santa Monica Beach Club for both the girls and boys teams.  Currently he is the head coach for the top boys 18’s team and head coach for the Pierce College men’s volleyball program, where in 2007 he coached his team to a co-conference championship and a third place in state.  For his efforts he was award California Junior College Coach of the Year for 2007.

In addition to volleyball, Dr. Stanislawski is an avid cyclist and surfer.  His fierce competitive spirit and passion for sports is matched only by his enthusiasm for the outdoors, which was sparked at a young age when as a Boy Scout where he fell in love with the outdoors. Taking part in such adventures as summiting Half Dome and Mt. Whitney (14,495’) and white water rafting down the Kern and American rivers; and cumulating in his earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Boys Scouts.  Dr. Stanislawski has been married to his wife Angela for three years, whom he met at Pierce College, and they live here locally in Studio City.

Dr. Beau Daniels:

As a young athlete in Houston Texas, Beau excelled in soccer, basketball, baseball, and volleyball. He went on to become the MVP of the Texas League, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA.  After graduating high school, Beau moved to Los Angeles to attend Pierce College where he led his volleyball team to the first of four State Championships in a row.  Beau was named 1st Team All Tournament and was recruited by USC, UCSD, and Pepperdine.

While choosing Pepperdine was not an easy decision, playing volleyball under the direction of former Olympic coach, Marv Dunphy, paved the way for Beau’s success as a volleyball player and contributed to his decision to pursue Sports Medicine.  During his second year at Pepperdine, Beau led the highly competitive league in assists per game, he was named to the 1st team MPSF, and he received 1st Team All American Honors.  Furthermore, his setting and leadership on the court enabled Pepperdine to maintain the number one ranking for the majority of the season.  After winning the MPSF Tournament, Beau’s team went on to play in the Final Four at Pennsylvania University.  During his last year at Pepperdine, Beau discovered that chiropractic care offered the ability to provide health care in a very diverse way.  After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Medicine, Beau sought the most evidence-based Chiropractic School and enrolled at Los Angeles Chiropractic College.

In the summer prior to entering chiropractic school, Beau was invited to train for the World University Games at the Olympic Training Center.  When training came to an end, Beau began his studies where he attained the certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.); a certification that most university strength coaches possess.  While at L.A. Chiropractic School, Beau was offered a spot on a professional volleyball team out of Northern Ireland for a Top Teams Cup Tour in Western Europe.  Beau resumed his chiropractic studies in Los Angeles after competing in the Top Teams Tournament, held in Switzerland, graduating Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Chiropractic in December 2006.

Beau worked as a volunteer chiropractor for the AIDS Life Cycle, a seven day, 545 mile cycling event that raised money and awareness for HIV/AIDS.  Additionally, he completed an internship with Dr. Chris Alvarez of the CPC-USA.  Dr. Beau Daniels, along with partner, Dr. Eddie Stanislawski, own and manage Body Dynamix, a leading chiropractic and sports-specific body conditioning center.

Along with running a successful practice, Beau is an Assistant Coach for the Pepperdine Men’s Volleyball team and Head Coach/Co-Director of one of the top-ranked boys’ volleyball clubs, Santa Monica Beach Club. Previously, Beau was the Assistant Coach for Men’s Volleyball at Pierce College, assisting his team in winning the State Championship in 2003 and State Semi-Finalist in 2007.

Richard Barraza:

Richard Barraza was born and raised in the heart of the San Fernando valley. His family, being very active in the local sports community, got Richard involved in many sports, from baseball and basketball, to tae kwon do and later his collegiate interest: volleyball.

After graduating with honors from Granada hills Charter High School, Richard attended Los Angeles Pierce College where he continued his education in liberal arts. At Pierce, Richard continued to play volleyball for coaches Adam Black and later, his eventual bosses, doctors Eddie Stanislawski and Beau Daniels.  After two years, Richard earned his associates of arts degree and transferred to the University of Santa Barbara California with an emphasis in communications. After a short time however, Richard returned home seeking other opportunities in pursuing his education.

Upon his return, Richard began working as a personal trainer under the supervision of C.S.C.S. certified trainers and Body Dynamix co-owners Beau Daniels and Eddie Stanislawski.  Richard is currently employed by Body Dynamix, coaches for Santa Monica Beach Club, is the varsity assistant for the girls volleyball program at Harvard Westlake and is attending California State University Northridge where he plans to further his education in both the fields of communications and kinesiology.

Matt Aquino:

Matthew Laanan Aquino is a native from the island of Guam. Matthew received a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology Option Exercise Science from Cal State University North ridge.  While attending Cal State Northridge he also attended classes at Pierce Junior College and managed to play on the Men's Volleyball team.   While at school Matthew started his personal training career at 24 Hour Fitness in Woodland Hills California.  After 6 months decided to become a private personal trainer specializing in three areas; Sports Performance, Nutrition consulting weight loss and optimum sports performance, and Posture Corrective Exercise.

Since being a private personal trainer his clientele has universally ranged from athletes, housewives, CEO's and the few celebrities he has worked closely with on a regular basis.  While having a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology, Matthew also holds certifications from NASM, AFFA, NASM Posture Corrective exercise and continues his education by receiving and renewing his certifications every four months.  Matthew hopes to bring a high level of knowledge about exercise and physiology to compliment the mission statement for Body Dynamix.  

Micah Golden-Grant:

Micah Golden-Grant was born and raised in San Diego, where he grew up playing volleyball and enjoying life with his friends and family.  A scholar athlete at Mount Carmel High School, Micah was very involved from an early age with the athletic community- coaching young teams, refereeing, and volunteering at local sports events.

Micah attended college at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he graduated in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.  He then went on the get his California Teaching Credential and a Master’s Degree in Education from UCSB in 2007.  For the next three years, Micah taught P.E. classes to elementary school children in Santa Barbara, and coached volleyball for various programs, including Junior Varsity boys at San Marcos High School under volleyball legend John Lee, as well as the UCSB Women’s Club Volleyball Team.  In 2009, Micah and his co-coach led the UCSB club to a Division I Club National Championship in Kansas City, MO.

Due to his healthy minded, athletic lifestyle and his involvement in Physical Education and coaching, Micah holds a deep interest in the fitness and wellness community.  Early in 2010, he moved down to the San Fernando Valley to pursue a career in performance training.  He got his Personal Training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M.) and now works for Eddie and Beau as a trainer at Body Dynamix.  Micah also coaches a boys’ volleyball team at Santa Monica Beach Club.
